I am a lover of Mercedes and drive a BClass which is now fully paid off and am in the market for an upgrade. Spoke to a saleslady in person at the dealership re purchasing a brand new CLA.
She was unable to explain the various packages and even pulled out the brochure in front of me to try explain the packages, which she actually got wrong. She also said she would have a quote for me by end of day, which when the end of day came she said she had been too busy.
She told me I could have my new car by January. (2nd salesman said July!)
This lady did not have a clue about what she was selling and I felt like I was in a store buying a sofa instead of embarking on the purchase of a car for over R400 000.
I complained to the manager who then put another salesman onto me.
he at least understood the vehicle he was selling but did not listen to me and sent me a quote with package options which, although discussed, I had said I do not want!
He promised me a new quote on Friday, I am still waiting
I am buying a new CLA but NOT from Mercedes Century City, in fact I will never walk into that dealership again
I was treated like dirt, clearly they have too much business and don't want mine
