I recently purchashed a Polo Vivo 1.4 Trendline from Lindsay Saker in Mooi street. On the day that I collected the vehicle it shuddered and the alignment of the vehicle was totally out. This being a vehicle that was sent for all the necessary checks.
I then returned the vehicle to the dealership for the above to be fixed, However Only the break discs was changed and not the break pads.
A week later I returned the vehicle once again for other issues ie ; The rear right door unlocked on its own, The alignment was still not 100% fixed, the head lights DIM when turning and there is a loud noise when I turn the steering wheel.
I was advised that the loud noise I'm hearing is from the power steering pump and is a Norm for the vehicle and the lights that dim when turning is a CHARACTERISTIC on the vehicle. The fact that this issues cannot be fixed and there is nothing that VW can do, is absolutely ATROCIOUS.This is a risk for me and as per the dealership they feel the opposite. These are clauses that should have been brought to my attention initially before purchasing the vehicle. VW Lindsay Saker has completely disregarded the Consumer Protection Act!
