I took my car to McCarthy Toyota Hatfield on 13th Sept 2013 & was assisted by Samuel Steyn. Car was checked & found to have damage to the steering column & tie end rods on the car. Parts were listed on their system but NEVER ordered. A few days later I went to the dealership & was told Sam had resigned & was assisted by Sade. She told me the parts will be ordered & delivered by 10th October; I should bring my car on 10th October 4 repairs. On 9th October I went to the dealership to enquire about the parts & was told the parts had NEVER been ordered. The new service advisor couldn't give an explanation why. At first he told me that my car was not under warranty & that's why the parts were probably never ordered. I asked that he check & it turns out my car IS still under warranty! I asked 4 the car to be checked again & was told the workshop was fully booked. At no point was there an attempt to accommodate me. I asked to speak to the service manager & he said he's busy in a meeting I should speak to the parts manager. The parts manager then confirmed that the parts indeed were never ordered. If the steering breaks, I could end up in accident, all because of what? why were the parts never ordered?
