Refund on my car booking for repai

I have booked my car in for repair. I was told that I can only get a date after paying a deposit for repair cost. After Paying 98% of the total cost then I got a date which was far. Then after 3 days I cancelled my booking. Then after a month, after making numerals phone calls I was refunded half of the money I paid. They told me they have paid for parts.

I refused to take the parts. I contacted my lawyers and lawyers communicated with them but they never cooperated with them even after sending a letter of demand. According to the consumer right act I have a right to cancelled any order and I should be charged a fair cancellation fee. They failed to provide a proof that when I cancelled my booking the parts were ordered already.
