I have taken my car in at Clearwater BMW as it had bad sound from the engine. They checked the car and diagnosed it. The quote for fixing the car came to R36000. They then advised me to take the car to the dealer where I bought the car, which is Northcliff. I then went to Northcliff to report the matter to them. They said they will go fetch the car to their dealer to find out exactly what the problem was. They then came with a quote of R15000 to fix the car and told me that they will take the matter up with BMW SA. I have complained about the funny sound coming from the car a while back while the car was still on motorplan, Northcliff told me they have fixed the car and 2 days later the very same sound was there and they told me that they have checked the car and it is fine. Now it turns out that the current problem with the car results from the sound that I complained about. Hardy told me that he is taking the mattre up with BMW SA and it should not be problem as they have had 2 simillar cases. Now all of a sudden they not coming back to me, I have to call them all the time and I also battle to get hold of him. Yestrday around 11am he said he will come back to me and he hasnt.
