Kia Motors South Africa
2months Old Kia Rio with faulty bearings in engine

Got my long awaited Rio two months ago from Kia Northcliff and only recently heard a strange sound when taking my foot of the accelerator pedal, like a grrr sound. Took my car to Kia Centurion and drove with Pieter to let him hear what sound it was. Got a call that same afternoon and was told "Jammer meneer maar ons het slegte nuus, jou voertuig se hele ratkas moet uitgehaal word en ingestuur word vir toetse. Dit sal moontlik twee weke vat." The next day i followed up to get a accurate indication of how long it will take. I was told "No sir, it seems that there was faulty bearings in the engine and we stripped the engine to take photos which we send through to head office for investigation.

I asked for a loan vehicle and was told they don't have any. I called head office and spoke to Augustine. He has done nothing for two days. I called MFC to tell them i am without a vehicle yet still paying. They say even if your car was written of you still need to pay. Well this is not my fault it is Kia's. The car is not even two months old, but it must be stripped for bearings. I am not going to get the same car back with the same feeling.

I am getting no assistance from anybody :(
