I bought a Toyota Hilux Raider a couple of weeks ago and I was shown a dent on the bonnet which I accepted. I left Inspect a Car Wonderboom, trading at Prima Motors and thought I bought a sound vehicle.
I took the bakkie for a thorough wash and also wheel balancing. at the car wash paint started coming off on the right front fender when they hand washed the vehicle. They also noted to me that the whole front bumper seems to be held together by only one or two screws and that a lot of screws are missing. I then inspected the vehicle myself and found that there is a color difference between the front bumber and the rest of the bakkie. This becomes more apparent when the vehicle is parked in the sun. They fixed the glove compartment but that only stayed repaired for a couple of days and is now constantly hanging open.
I have been calling again and again and again, even leaving messages and still no call back from Gerald. i have a warrantee on this vehicle and I want it thoroughly checked out but driving up and down to Wonderboom in a 4.0L V6 is no joke.
Surely under the Consumer Protection act all defects should be pointed out to me?
I need my vehicle sorted out...
