ON THE 13TH AUGUST, I BOOKED MY CAR IN FOR A BRAKE FLUID FLUSH SERVICE AND REPORTED A LOUD INTERMITTENT AN NOISE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.THEY CARRIED OUT THE BRAKE FLUID FLUSH AND I WAS INFORMED THAT MY THERMOSTAT, WITH INLET AND OUTLET SENSORS NEEDED TO BE REPLACED.AFTER 2DAYS I GOT MY CAR BACK.FIRSTLY WHEN I TRIED TO START THE CAR ON THEIR PREMISES, IT WOULD NOT START SO I INFORMED THEM.THEY GOT A JUMP STARTER KIT AND MY CAR STARTED.WITH THIS AN ARRAY OF XMAS LIGHTS LIT UP ON THE DASHBOARD AND I QUERIED THIS.IT SHOWED THAT MY ABS WAS FAULTY AND THE TECH TOLD ME THAT MY DSC UNIT WAS FAULTY DUE TO MY BATTERY BEING OLD.I TOOK HIS ADVICE AND BOUGHT A NEW BATTERY AND VOILA THE PROBLEM DID NOT DISAPPEAR.HOW STRANGE THAT MY DSC UNIT GOT FAULTY AFTER THEY DID THE BRAKE FLUID FLUSH ON IT.I WAS SENT AWAY WITH THIS PROBLEM AND STILL HAVE IT.I CONTACTED THE MANAGER MARK WHO WILL NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY, BAD COMMUNICATION SKILLS.I THEM CONTACTED BMW SA AFTER 3 FAILED ATTEMPTS OF GETTING ANSWERS.A LADY NAMED DUDU SAID THAT MY CARS DSC HAS A LIFESPAN SINCE MY CAR IS 9YRS OLD AND THAT IT WAS JUST BAD LUCK THAT IT HAPPENED TO FAIL AT THE TIME THEY DID THE SERVICE.IM GOING TO TAKE IT FURTHER, #CPA#
