Incorrect spare part (engine mountings) was installed. Caused serious vibration. Manager accepted a mistake had been made and promised a full refund, several times. Each time he came with the excuse that he thought they had paid me back but will follow it up. This happened ongoing for 3 months. Eventually sent registered letter to start a small claims case against them. Letter returned unopened. Took the matter to Head Office. Three months later got a reply that I should take it to the Motor Industry Ombudsman. This is just a serious case of lying and ultimately from the customer. Clearly not someone who could ever be trusted with anybody's car. Stay as far away from this company as possible.
