Incompetence is the order of the day

I have been struggling with Edgards for months. In july i was told my account has been handed over to MBD attorneys after it was paid in full a year prior. Then i called MBD to get a break down but they are just as useless as Edgars and advise the account was NOT handed over i must speak to Edgars. So i decided to pay Edgars the R1000 I supposedly owe so I can get them off my back. I paid in September 2013 and when i returned to Edgards to make sure my account is in fact clean all of a sudden it showes i owe R14. Then i call Customer Service and i am advised it's a credit lying on my account of R14 and my account still shows it has been handed over!!! Now I ask you, how the is it possible to have debits/credits lying on the account if it has been paid in FULL and there are no subscriptions to anything??? I am now waiting for a letter to confirm i paid the account in full but let's see if that happens within 48 hours becuase I am not holding my breath. Every person i have spoken to since July has been of NO help whatsoever so let's see if the last person can actually do what is promised. If Edcon ruins my name i will ruin yours. Incometence seems to be the IN thing in SA
