My sister (Gloria) purchase a pre-owned vehicle (Citrone C4 1.6i) from Peugeot_Hatifield on 7/3/12.The sales man that was assisting her has since left the company and recently she has been dealing with Fanie. On the 18/9/13 my sister was driving home to see her daughter (who turned 9 months on the 14/9/13) around 9-10. Unfortunately she experienced a tyre burst on the rear left tyre, that led to her losing control of the vehicle and she collided with a taxi on the passenger side. NONE OF THE AIRBAGS INFLATED AND SHE DIED.THE CAUSE OF DEATH WAS "BLUNT FORCE TRAUMA TO THE HEAD". AREN'T AIRBAGS SUPPOSED TO DEPLOY DURING AN IMPACT? IF THIS CAR WAS MECHANICALLY UNFIT, WHY DID IT LEAVE THE SALE-FLOOR? How could this have happened if her steering wheel airbags were deployed, it wouldn't have?
