BMW Approved car repairs taking more than 2 months

I gave BMW APPROVED Auto Atlantic ARC in Montague Gardens my BMW to repair. Initially I struggled to get a proper quotation and 5 quotations later they informed me of a sudden increase of R40 000 in the repair cost after which I phoned and complained... they then decided on reducing the additional cost to R 6000. I have been phoning and asking for feedback w.r.t the completion date but to date NOTHING. In fact I got hold of the Manager, Paul Miles, who actually promised to give me feedback on Tuesday 22 Jan 2013. Needless to say he never did. I then phoned in on Wednesday and I was informed that he already left work... it was only 4:30pm. This morning, Friday 25 Jan, he e-mailed me (he doesn't even have the decency to pick up the phone and apologise) and he basically re-stated the same old story of part availability over December but STILL NO INDICATION OF ANY COMPLETION DATE AND ITS MORE THAN 2 MONTHS!!! However he stated he can give me a rental vehicle BUT only from 4 Feb and I MUST JUST PAY FOR THE INSURANCE OF THE RENTAL... WHAT A JOKE. I have been doing business with BMW for a long time now and I cannot believe that they can associate themselves with this business and its people
