I bought a Kia Sorento from Seapoint Auto. Before I bought the car I wanted a AA multi point check. They sent the vehicle to Randburg AA on the 31st. AA then did the test and cleared the vehicle. I went that afternoon to fetch the car from the dealership. I then drove the car home and the next morning I noticed a dripping of oil was left on the place where my car was parked. I called the AA and ask why they had indicated that there were no oil leaks and there was clearly something wrong. I then called the technician who did the inspection he was quite rude and his response was that the car is old. I informed him that I could see with my bare eyes the oil dripping, the oil is dark and you can see it on the side of the engine. He then said I should bring the car back again. I went to him on the Monday and he then looked at the car along with another mechanic and they both agreed there was a big oil leak and there is no way that it should have passed. I asked him how the vehicle could have passed the test, to which he replied that that the car is old he then signed on the report that there was an oil leak. We put our trust in the AA test and it let me down.
