Poor service

My ford went in on the 2 sept as the smoke came on while i was driving on the weekend I took vehicle in and received no call to let me know of the progress 3 days later i called to speak to Wendy and she said the parts is delayed because of strike, why can't they let customer know about delays about the service so that we can make arrangements because I depend on the car for my everyday life. I don't even know if I will get it tomorrow or I must call them again. Disgusting service and its not the first time this is happening to me
