Citroen
Car at Citroen Hatfield since December 2012

In December 2012, I drove my car to Citroen Hatfield for repairs. The car was stalling when driven in slow speed. They assessed the problem and quoted me R14, 849.23 I agreed to the quote.

On the week starting Monday 04th of March they called me to say they have completed repairs on the car. On Friday 08th March, around 5pm, I collected the car and paid them in full.

I drove off with the vehicle and there was smoke coming out of the exhaust. However there was a note on the job card stating that with more driving the smoke should go away. Two days later, On Sunday, the 10th of March, the vehicle started presenting with the same problems I had taken it in for and I got stuck on N1 Polokwane just before the John Foster Off Ramp and the vehicle had to be towed back to Citroen.

On Thursday 30 May 2013, I got a call from Citroen Hatfield to say they have finally repaired the car and I should come collect. On 31 May when I got there to collect, they told me I have to pay R6859 before I can get the car back. I was never quoted of the extra R6859, nor did I agree to it. Now they are withholding my car.
