Mercedes-Benz South Africa
Bad Customer Service

On Monday 12 August went into Mercedes Centurion to de-activate & apply for new key. Emmanuel at parts advised that I have to bring in all the documentation required for new key application. I then requested to just de-activate the lost key, for safety reasons. Emmanuel then said "No, we do not do that, you must bring these documents first". I then insisted until he called for his Manager. Spoke to his Manager & YES the key can be de-activated.
Stayed at Mercedes for an hour only to be advised they are offline (Indian lady seemed busy). The following day called in asked to bring in the car, the Indian lady said I must book the car in for the 15th. I got furious, asked to speak to the Manager (Johan) and my car key was de-activated in 20min

Came back again on the 23 to apply for the new key and had all the required doc's. It was 16:35 and Emmanuel said "There is no one to help you, you must come back on Monday". I again insisted to speak to the Manager. Went through to Managers office and Manager (New Sales Manager) gladly assisted me by filling in & signing the form. Manager advised that the form will be processed later but will need not to come back into their office.
