Mercedes Benz let down

My car got water damage and was towed to Merc Constantia Kloof. My insurance company was waiting for feedback from Merc on the damages to my car, this took approx 5 days. Merc recommended that the engine be replaced and had to get the engine from Germany which would take approx 6 weeks. Merc was unable to accommodate me with a courtesy car and I was without a car for all this time. In the 7th week after numerous requests for a courtesy car Merc did provide one. In the second week after they gave the car they were harassing me to bring the car back even though my car was not ready yet. When my car was eventually fixed they contacted me, told me to bring the courtesy car back but however I could not get my car unless payment was made. The insurance company unfortunately released the money into my cheque account. I contacted Merc to find out if I do a transfer to them and provide proof of payment will my car be released.. I spoke to the Manager and asked if I could pay with my credit card. He advised that they are not allowed to do credit card payments on such large amounts, due the commissions they have to pay. I never expected such treatment from Mercedes Benz.
