I normally dont do this sort of thing as i am in retail as well, but this left such a sour taste in my mouth i had to share. My car had been broken into and they broke my window which i had to replace. I did not claim from insurance and bought the window on my own. I took it to volkswagen to see how much they would charge me... to my surprise i got quoted R1500 just to fit a window. Was told that they had to take the door panel out and i had to leave the car there. I went to PG Glass in Randburg and they did it for free in half an hour... all i did was tip the assistant. They didnt even remove the panel. It just goes to show how the motor industry rips people off. Can you imagine how many people they rip off.
