Management not aware of offline financial services

Purchased R60 Petrol and only afterwards do they tell me 'e the peds not working'.

So then I go into the store and try to withdraw money from a Capitec ATM (I am with ABSA so additional costs are charged). I then got a message from ABSA saying that the amount was deducted from my account but the ATM displayed an error message.

The manager should have informed her staff about the state of their financial services to commuincate this to their patrons. This cost me extra money, time and effort.

Needless to say I'll avoid Caltex in the future.
