Bad Customer Service and not handling situation

2 Weeks ago when I was at this Caltex petrol station at Stellendale Kuils River, i thought the petrol guard has close my cap of of taking out the petrol pump, because he came to fetch the money for payment. On my way to work, i saw cars flashing lights at me, just to notify me that the cap is still ope, has never been close.
The 2nd incident was this morning 02-09-2013, when they tried my card in 3 different card machine. and didn't know that they were offline. Only after another customer tried to pay with her card, the lady int he shop ask another person if they were offline. The manager was not yet in. As they had a standard bank ATM in the shop and this woman told us we had to draw money there to pay them. We told her its going to cost us bank charges as we not with Standard Back. The lady didn't have an answer only said the manager not coming in a 07:00. I was already late for work, and they didn't even know they were offline. This is bad service.

I feel they should be more alert before customers throw in petrol, they find out which method they paying and if they are online, as not all customers have enough cash or bank at the same bank, which cost extra charges.
