When Time Freight delivered the stock I ordered a while ago one of the items were broken.
They put in a claim and everything that were handled by the department responsible were done very professionally up to a point..
Yesterday the informed me that they will be sending some one to collect the damaged goods.because the claim was going to be paid out - at that time they did not send me any proof of payment or that the claim were indeed paid out. There were no way I was going to let go of the damaged goods without any proof.
I then asked them if I was going to reimburse for the transport costs as well.
The lady informed me that they delivered a service to me and even though they were responsible for the damages I did received a service. The only service they have provide was to brake the item ordered.
I don't think its fair practice - if I re-order the broken item I will have to pay again for the transport of the item witch could be anything between a R100 - R150 - doulble that amount will be R300 more or less and I would have to sell that item in my shop withou making a profit while Time Freight will still make their profit.
