I bought a Johnway 250cc X-Plode at Big Boy Scooters Edenvale. I went back to this dealership 3 times just for the papers and also left my card 3 times, no one phoned back. I also phoned them numerous times but the guy that sold me the bike is never available or always on leave.
The bike was bought on 21 February 2013. The license on the motorbike has already expired on 30 April 2013 (thus there will also be a penalty fine) and still I have received no change of ownership paperwork for the bike which was promised to be ready the day after I bought the bike.
After I bought it I also noticed that the front rim on it is bent and that the hazards does not work either. Even if I get the papers form them, the front rim will cost -R1500 (as per Johnway Scooters) to replace and the hazard relay R150 to fix before the bike can be put through roadworthy. Furthermore, I received no spare key for the bike which was also promised when I made the payment... Salesperson said that the bike is still under a 2 year warranty and failed to mention that warranty is not transferable to 2nd owner. None of these faults was mentioned when I bought the motorbike from them...
