I receive my car on the 26 July 2013 from the Airport. I rented the car until the 30 July 2013.
It was raining in Durban on the 28 July, the car felt funny as it was struggling to grip in the larger puddles of water. I got off the car to find that all four tires were pretty worn out. The biggest shock was that the front two tires were already on the thread indicator! This means these tires were illegal to be driven; who would have taken the responsibility if I got in to an accident?
I took the car back on the 29 July at the first available time I had and Europcar Durban Airport replaced it for another car.
I'm amazed that Europcar can treat its customer like this.
I demand that Europcar refund me the rental for those days that I was driving with a un-roadworthy vehicle!
