In May/June of 2011, I hired a car in Kimberley Airport. The car was driven to Johannesburg. On the way to JHB, the car had issue however the car made to JHB. I called Europcar Sandton to explain that the car had a problem. Europcar Sandton exchange the car for another. The the second car was driven to Kimberley and dropped off. A week later I received a call to say i owed over R1000 in one way fee and fuel. After months of follow ups with Europcar I escalated to the Gauteng regional manager promised to get back to me and never did. Two year later I get blacklisted by Europcar for a oneway fee that does not exist, a second driver whom they do not have details for and fuel for a car that was faulty and exchange. i have paid Europcar as the account of calls to them has cost me more than the owed amount. To all reading this please DO NOT EVER HIRE WITH EUROPCAR!!!
