I purchased a Hyundai getz 1.4 in 2010 with a service plan and was advised that the services are to be preformed every 15000 km. The first two services when well the last service was in 2012 which was a 30000 km service. Last month i was contacted by Hyndai to say that my service plan will end at the end of August and would i like to take out another service plan. I asked the lady as to why it will end at the end of August as I have not yet reached 45000 km. She then informed me that they have changed the condition to state that the service must be done once a year or every 15000km which ever comes first. I have never received any such notification. She confirmed that I must take the car in for a service before the end of August and then my new service contract will begin at the end of August. I agreed and took out the new contract and booked my car for a service at Hyundai Bedforview for 3 August 2013. Imagine my surprise when I took my car in and the told me it was no longer covered as my service plan expired in April. How can a service plan expire before the 1 year service or the 15000 km limit has been reached. I am totally disgusted with Hyundai.
