GOING EXTRA MILE IN REPAIRING CAR RADIO

I DROVE FROM CAPE TOWN, ATTENDING A FAMILY FUNERAL IN THE QUEENSTOWN VICINITY AND DUE TO THE BAD CONDITIONS OF ROADS IN THE VILLAGES OF WHITTLESEA, THE RADIO STOPPED FUNCTIONING. I WALKED INTO THE KIA QUEENSTOWN DEALERSHIP AND PERSUADED LEE-ANN MALAN (FRONT LINE SERVICE PRESONNEL) AS WELL AS ROXY ROSSOUW (SERVICE MANAGER) TO ACCEPT MY CAR FOR RADIO DIAGNOSIS AND REPAIRS INTO THEIR WORKSHOP ON THAT PARTICULA DAY AS I WAS DRIVING BACK TO CAPE TOWN.

THEY INITIALLY MADE ME AWARE THAT THERE WERE CARS THAT WERE ALREADY BOOKED IN FOR SERVICE/REPAIRS AND WOULD START WITH THEM FIRST, AND THAT IT IS NOT THEIR NORMAL POLICY TO SQUEEZE IN IMMEDIATE JOB TOTHE WORKSHOP AS IT HAS BEARING ON QUALITY AND WORKLOAD OF TECHNICIANS. I UNDERSTOOD AND AGREED TO WAIT UNTIL I COULD GET A SLOT.

I DID NOT EVEN WAIT FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR FOR MY CAR TO BE BOOKED, REPAIRED AND RELEASED FOR ME TO BEGIN MY JOURNEY. I AM GRATEFUL THAT THE STAFF AT KIA QUEENSTOWN SERVICES COULD GO AN ETRAMILE IN REPAIRING MY CAR RADIO WITH A GREAT ATTITUDE AMIDST MY INSENSITIVE DEMANDS. THANK YOU SO MUCH... -:)
