Bad After sales service

No Response From Hyundai SA

Last Tuesday our i30 started with a loud knocking sound coming from the engine bay.

I recorded the sound with my cellphone. The car got towed to the closest Hyundai dealership.
Later that day I phoned for an update and i got told that there was nothing wrong with the car.
I showed them the video clip and they said they will investigate.
We had to contact the adviser, noleen, multiple times before she got back to us.

I even escalated the situation to Hyundai SA, but as such got no response even from them. This morning we called Hyundai SA call Center and they just said they will respond to our query.

I asked for a courtesy car and gold told the cars been booked month in advance.

On Friday Nolene from the Bellville Branch phoned me back and said their mechanic says we should drive the car as is, as they cannot diagnose what is wrong with it, and my wife said shy needs her car.

I replied to her that we do not need a broken car back. The branch have not contacted us again since Friday with regards to the car.

This is not the service we got promised when you sold the car to us.
