On 020740B Apr 2013 my wife went to Hyundai Sandton, due to a problem that she experienced with her Hyundai Gets 1.6. The vehicle will whilst driving just cut out, then after a few times of trying to start the vehicle it will eventually start, the problem is when it happens she is on her own or in traffic either on her way to work or coming back from work. That specific morning she phoned Hyundai Sandton and asked if they could help her. The service department manager said she can only be helped on 4 April 2013 because they are fully booked. She thought it well to drive to Hyundai to find out if they could set aside ten minutes of their time to tell her what is wrong with the vehicle but to no avail, the same answer we are fully booked. The afternoon, 021610B Apr 2013, on her way back home the vehicle cut out again, on the N3, in heavy traffic and in the rain.
I immediately phoned Hyundai to speak to the Manager, to my surprise he was not available, the call was given to Joe, who I could hear was not in a mood to talk in the beginning. I asked him why is the service not up to standard, why did they not just test the vehicle, reply was they are fully booked to Thursday, why not
