I visited Toyota Midrand on the 25th July 2013. While I entered the new car show room, I was ingnored by an elderly white salesman and he passed me twice whithout any acknowledgement.
I am interested in the Toyota Etios and opened the Gold one in the showroom and found the licensing and registartion papers with an invoice for R119 000-00 in the car.
The white salesman eventually called an indian gentlemen called Sagie to assist me.
I asked Sagie about the price of R119 000-00 charged for a new Etios and he approached the white sales person and they engaged in a conversation in which the white sales person commented that he had purchased the car and there was only a R 2 000-00 profit on the car.
Sagie then approached me and we engaged in a conversation in which he supplied me with a quote of /- R 127 000.00 for the same vehicle.
he then proceeded with his e.mails without us completing our conversation.
He also mentioned that the Midrand branch recieved a customer excellence award but my experience of the branch was not so.
I feel that I wasa blatently ignored and recieved poor service from the Midrand staff. This has created a negative perception of Toyot
