I wanted to have the chips on my door panel and bonnet (yes, already there are chips) repaired by a panel beater who then advised me that I should take my car to my dealer and advise them that my back bumper is mismatched and that the white on the bumper as a yellow undertone whereas the white on my car's body has a blue undertone (given that the colour is called glacier white after all).
Toyota now wants me to take my car to my dealer for an inspector to inspect it. I don't know what for, it is obvious to the naked eye. I never expected to have to get such inferior quality from Toyota. What happened to the quality checks when the car came off the line? How can I be certain that some mechanical components have not also come off the line without the proper 'checks' having been done?
Toyota forgets that a person, on average, buys a car every 5 years - that means an average of 10 cars in a person's lifetime. Guess I won't be buying the other 9 from Toyota.
I really hope that the entire car is inspected - including the engine.
