Westland
Car Sale with false Information

Hello Peter.

I bought a car from Westland, its a BMW Z4. I asked the salesman if the car had been in an accident at all by emailing the Sale's person, he emailed back saying the car had a scratch and it was painted.

I now want to change the car, went to BMW and to my surprise, BMW came back with a record saying the car was in an accident. Went back to the dealership, the boss started by saying I can do whatever I wanted but when he realised that I had this information on email, he then calmed down and tried to sweat talk me into some deal, that he can take the car in for what the other dealers are willing to take it for.

I then asked BMW for an estimation on how much they would take the car for if it hadnt been in an accident. BMW advised that they would take it for about R250K, informed Mark (WestlandNorth), he then advised that he got a quote for R235K, I said no, I want them to match BMW's offer as it is their fault that I am now sitting with a car of a lesser value than what was sold to me.

Now he is telling me that BMW can't put that in a formal quote therefore can't match it. BMW can't put this in a formal quote as it is an estimation of a Non-real situation.
