Volkswagen
2 months for a new moto

I bought my 2010 Tiguan Tsi last year June with approx 33000 k's on the clock. 2 months later it was misfiring, booked it into the workshop as it is under motor plan. They replaced the cylinder head. I then started hearing a noise coming from the engine especially worse when starting the car up. I then booked the car in at the end of November 2013. The workshop replaced the piston rings and then bearings and after each time the sound was still present. The technicians then requested for a new engine as replacing parts was not fixing the problem. The factory would not authorize, instead wanted them to replace another part I think the crankshaft I'm not sure as it's been 2months! The factory has released an engine only this week, which will only be received next week at the dealership then for the police clearance then fitment!! That's possibly another 2weeks!!! I am beyond frustrated with Volkswagen!!! This is the first time I have purchased a VW and I swear the last time!!! I know with pre owned cars there's a risk of things going wrong, what concerns me is the delay in trying to resolve my issue expeditiously!! I am driving a courtesy car which is not the same value as my car!
