The claim to have my 2011 Ford Motor Vehicle repaired was approved on the 24th of June 2013 and East Rand Motor lab collected the vehicle on the 25th of June 2013. The Vehicle was stripped by the 27th of June 2013 and further authorization was obtained from the Insurance Company for additional expenses which was approved and authorized on the 28th of June 2013. East Rand Motor lab advised me that the repairs would take a maximum of 2 weeks (14 days) from date of receipt of authorization, it is now the 16th of July 2013 (18 days) from receipt of additional authorization and the work on the vehicle still has not started.
The latest excuse is that they are waiting for a Mechanic and Panel Beater to start with the work and it will now take two weeks to complete the repairs once they start (They are not able to advise when they will start with the repairs)
