Kia Motors South Africa
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

I recently happened on a used Jeep Commander at KIA and dealt with Derick Dippenaar to arrange a test drive. Pursuant to the test drive, I asked him to do some calculations regarding trade-in of my Navara (settlement, trade in price etc.) I also discussed the need for new tyres on the vehicle which Derick undertook to arrange, a towbar for which he obtained the price, and the scratches on the vehicle that Derick undertook to have repaired. On Wednesday 22 May 2013 I spoke to Derick. He was at that stage trying to see if he could get a slightly better trade-in value for me, and he undertook to get back to me on Thursday 23 May. When he had not called by early afternoon I contacted him. He told me he was not at work, but that he would get back to me on the Friday. Friday came and went without any call.By Monday morning I was anxious and sent him a message. I was shocked to be told the vehicle had been sold. As far as I was concerned, we had a deal concluded, and were just finalising the details. I had not yet signed an offer to purchase because I was not asked. The only delay in the deal was Derick and the finance person at KIA who was "too busy" to help with forms when asked to.
