Disgraceful Service

My wife made an appointment and travelled from Hermanus to Brackenfell to test drive a SSanyong Kyron advertised by Imperial Select there. We were taken out by George Martin and liked the vehicle but the George could not give us a valuation on our trade-in vehicle as his boss (Morne) was not working that day. We told him that we were cash buyers and that we wanted the Kyron and that the trade-in was not a deal breaker as we would sell it out of hand if need be but we wanted the Kyron. He told us we had right of 1st refusal on the vehicle & he wanted our trade-in because it is a popular car.

George promised to get back to us "on Monday or Tuesday at the latest". By Thursday he still had not called us back and I spoke to the dealer principle who promised to call back the same day. That also never happened and when I called him back at midday on Friday he told me that the vehicle had already been sold to someone else. I asked him if we had been given such poor service because we are cash buyers or what the problem was. He has also not gotten back to me yet.
