Subaru South Africa is cocking a snoot at SA consumer law with impunity. They sell vehicles with inherent manufacturing fault. Their Forester range boxer engines have had worldwide piston lead failures causing engine failure. They rebuild the engines with the same faulty pistons which fail after warranty then they do not honor guarantees thereafter. This renders the purchased vehicle useless causing great financial loss to the purchaser. They have been reported to the MiF for bad business practice and should be banned from selling their product in SA.Beware of purchasing Subaru Forester you will face financial loss.
