To whom this may concern:
I own a Subaru Legacy 2010 model and have been trying to sell or trade in the vehicle for the past few months. I wanted to trade in my vehicle for a more fuel efficient vehicle, however, it appears that I cant even get a good deal on a trade in for the vehicle.
I don't understand why though. I recently, put in an offer to purchase another vehicle and the results of the trade in was ridiculous. The dealer says that my vehicle has a trade in value of R 210 000, however they are only willing to offer me R 110 000 (according to Subaru dealerships) as these vehicles are slow moving.
Subaru, in my opinion are misleading their customers because they are meant to believe that they are buying a vehicle that is worth something and that the resale value on these vehicles will be decent. Subaru markets their vehicles to be world class, however, I cannot see that when the vehicles are worth next to nothing.
I don't understand why I cannot sell my vehicle. If Subaru was such a great brand, then it would be easy to sell the vehicle.
No body wants this vehicle, not even Subaru dealerships. Can some from SSA explain why and how I can get rid of this vehicle?
