I took my 206 to Peugeot Menlyn 17 May '13 as it was making a huge noise. They repaired the engin mountings and fan resistor and said the air intake and temp censor needs to be replaced. I booked my car for the end of May '13. They replaced the air intake and temp censor and said the catalytic convertor needs to be replaced. Since then my car don't want to idle properly. I phoned and one Johan Jacobs told me that is due to a conversion we made on the exhaust. I took the car to Speedy to check the exhaust system - they said the catalytic convertor was removed when we did the conversion and they replaced the eshaust box. Still my car don't want to idle and I yet again phoned Johan Jacobs at Peugeot Menlyn. He said he cannot help me as they are no longer Peugeot, I need to go to Peugeot Hatfield or Centurion. I stay in Bronkhorstspruit so I phoned Hatfield branch, I explained my problem that my car don't want to idle proper and it starts to cut out if I stop and on pull away. My car is booked for coming Monday, 8 July '13 with Hatfield branch. This morning on my way to work my car don't want to idle at all and it kept on cutting out every time I slack down or pull away!!!
