We are very disappointed with Peugeot, and actually regret every buying one.
On the 1st of May, I had a message pop on my electronic box reading "OIL PRESSURE TOO LOW STOP", I then arranged a flat bed to collect my car at my home and take it to Peugeot Menlyn on the 2nd May 2013. They then "apparently went through my car did a full diagnosis" and gave me a quote to replace the following:
o Replaced OIL, OIL FILTER, AIR FILTER, SPARKPLUGS AND SUMP PLUG WASHER, REPLACED ENGINE MOUNTING AND THERMO HOUSING, REPLACED CAMBELT, WATERPUMP AND COOLANT, REPLACED HEAD LIGHT BULB AND NUMBER PLATE BULBS AND REGASSED AIRCON.
I paid an amont of R13120.79
But why did I pay for all of this when nothing actually works! (And I'm worse off than before). The aircon is empty, the lights dont work, the water is still bubbling in the water pumb, oil dripping all over and my car which is a 2L Tiptronic Sport 307 CC doesn't have power, now there is a flat stop and it drives like a little old lady!!!
I'm shocked by Peugeot Menlyn which also closed down and now I'm stuffed!!!
