BP Petrol Attendant didn't do his job right

On Saturday the 16th of Nov, I asked the Petrol Attendant to fill up my car with Petrol (bear in mind I am a Discovery Customer and always fill up at a BP). When I walked around the outside of the car, after /- R 221 of 93 fuel had been dispensed, I called the Attendant to show him that the nozzle wasn't even in properly and most of the fuel was pouring onto the ground next to my vehicle. I told him to call the Manager as I wasn't paying for all that wasted fuel. The Manager came over after the Attendant had quickly put the nozzle in the vehicle (after mouthing something back to the attendant in his language). The Manager was useless! By this time, I had not only the Manager, but another random attendant and the Petrol Attendant all around me. Felt quite intimidating. The Manager asked me how much I wanted to pay. I said "I don't know. You tell me. I don't know how much was spilled. I only know that it was at R 221 when I saw the problem". The Manager then said "Well you know, this Attendant, he will have to pay for it so how much do you want to pay" (insinuating that it would come out of the attendants pocket... shame). Then I said 'okay well half of R 221? "
