On having to return my car within less than 6 months for a recurring problem I was told that it was indeed a different problem. I got absolutely furious after being declined my request for Renault to take the cost of the R 265 part which they suggested would now solve the problem.
Very interesting how a different part was going to solve the same problem I reported last time!!!
The manager is arrogant and despite my acknowledgement of being furious (unfairly at the two individuals spoken to) I was spoken at like some and had the phone put down on me.
He then called me back threatening to leave my car on the street and that he will not repair it, saying that he has authorisation from head office to do so.
I asked him to please not leave it on the street as I cannot collect it immediately. He then asked me if I wanted it fixed or not.
I asked him if I could please collect my car and asked for the contact person at head office.
He said he would get her to contact me and put the phone down.
Impressive service. Impeccable people skills. Just another incompetent cowboy.
