In August 2012 my carf started giving me gearbox problems. I phoned Car Service Centre and spoke to Kuben. I was told to pay R5100 and a reconditioned gearbox will be fitted to the car. The car was repaired and according to me a reconditioned gearbox fitted. I was issued with a six month guarantee.
The car was taken back three times and guarantee extended.
In January 2013 the gearbox gave in.. After numerous calls I was told the gearbox was send away for repairs Eventually around the 25th I collected the car. I was given a further 6 months warranty extension. In February 2013 the car was back as some of the selectors had to be changed and so the saga goes on.
I subsequently had the gearbox replaced by a Volkswagen technician at a cost of R8000. All I require is a refund of R5100
