Slow Response to a query

Returned a car i'd rented for a few days in dbn from 22-28 May 2013, recieved the billing invoice 29th (via email) and responded to the designated address on the 30th with a query as to how much i'd been billed to 'refill' the vehicle (which had been refilled on in DBN north on the way to the airport). Got the autoresponse to say my query was recieved, and then nothing... finally on the 20th of june i get a mail asking for documented proof of the refill? As id already wait 3 weeks for a real person to respond - i'd already given up expecting a response and already discarded my slips. Irony was the auto response says i should recieve a response in 2 to 5 working days - yet another example of outstanding commitment to a promise.
