We bought a second-hand Audi 2001 1.9 TDI on 8 November 2012. My husband did a thorough check on the car and it was agreed that there were things on the car that need to be fixed before we will be happy to buy the car. We were promised that the car will be in tip top condition when we pick it up and what we required to be fixed, will be done. Car will be put through necessary tests. My husband soon realised that not all the items as agreed were fixed. He insisted that it be fixed and they promised to arrange a date for this. He initiated a discussion with Audi SA re the outstanding issues. The car was then booked into the workshop for three weeks, we got a courtesy car. After numerous follow-ups and calls to the dealership & Audi SA, a date was set in April 2013. They were not willing to provide us with a courtesy car - impacted immensely on our lifes - jobs in jeopardy. Car in workshop for 2 weeks - again not all issues fixed. The car at a private workshop again - no power - Lindsay Saker says not their problem - warranty has expired! More than 6 months since purchase and car still in bad condition! Dealership and Audi SA reluctant to assist with getting car up to standard
