I took my car C180Kompressor Avantgarde, to MB Menlyn on the 24th May, enquiring about the inside silver handle that has been broken. One of the technicians promised that they will fix my car since that thing is plastic inside the door panel, so it break easily. Later he realised that the parts they have does not match my car. They said I should bring it on Monday 27th May for repair.
When I got there in the morning, CARL is the one who was helping me. He said to me he needs to phone Germany to ask them if they should fix my car since it does not have the warranty anymore, only the motor plan left. That day my car spend the day at the dealer with no luck, until I fetch it in the afternoon. He only came back to me on Friday 31st May, telling me that "Germany said they will fix my door out of GOODWILL but I must pay R3000 from my pocket". To me it did not make sense. This car only travelled R56000 km. The doors handle are breaking. I am asking myself that am I paying for the quality that I thought I will get from the brand or I made the wrong choice. Please advice.
