Since I bought the Chery there was rust on the driver door. After taking it back for services a few times, Chery actually sent it to a panel beater. When the car came back from the panel beater is looked as if it was in an accident.
1. The Engine and Vin number sticker is no longer on the dashboard.
2. My sunroof is rusting from the inside. (Fortunately the rust on the door was noticeable when I bought it - It just took Chery years to acknowledge it)
3. The door handle on the driver side is damaged. (Due to the inside panel that had to be removed when the door was resprayed)
4. The air vent on the driver side was damaged when the dashboard was replaced.
5. The petrol gauge only works after driving for a while (in conjunction with the heat gauge).
I initially bought a black Chery 1.8. After driving it for a day, I realised that I needed a car with more power. I called the sales person and asked if I could trade the car. The trade was done within a day. The initial odometer that was on the black Chery, with 350km on the clock - was put in the new Blue Chery. When I collected the car it still had so much polish in between the groves. It took months to wash out
