I am a single woman who bought a 2009 Mahindra Bolero at Albert de Jongh motors in February 2013. I am paying R1900 a month for a car that I cannot use. They told me that the car is in great working condition but since i bought the car it has been in the shops for a total of 8 weeks and cost me about R6000.00. Now the gearbox broke and will cost me R15000-R20000. I do not have the funds to fix the car. I have been trying to neg with them to take the car back and give me something else but they are just ignoring me. I bought a car that is not roadworthy and unsafe to drive. I am paying for car that i cannot drive, and i have to struggle to use friends and families vehicles because mine is not working. I dont believe that it is legal to sell a car under false pretenses. If I knew the car was in such a bad condition i would not have bought it, because I do not have money to fix it. i cannot sell the car because i will have to pay in more than R50 000. I want the dealership to take this car back and give me a car in the same pricerange that is in a working condition. Can you help me?
