I bought a Nissan Almera from Albert De Jongh Motors on the 08/01/2014, he had the car advertised for 50k, he brought the car to me for a test drive, on apon the test drive i notices a few problems that needed to be attended to at first glance, i made a offer of 44k to Johan he counter offered at 45k but would not do any repairs i would have to effect repairs on my own, to date the car has not given me more than a days service without breaking down, the rear brake calarpers were even missing, to date i have spent over R 8500 on repairs and it hasnt stopped, this morning the clutch seems have broken as well. open discussion with Johan i was told these are all wear and tear parts and they are not responisible and i have to deal with the problems on my own, they as a dealer will not accept any responsibility.i find this highly unethical for a dealer to take that stance, i see that i am not the first person that they have done this too, please don buy from this dealer no matter how good they make the deal or vehicle sound, they will give you the illusion you are getting a good vehicle at a good price but they are selling unroadworthy vehicles to the public and getting away with murder.
