Hello Peter

A consultant by the name of Kim called promoting their service offering of repairing scratches on my car, i refused to join it initially as i did not understand how it would add value to me. She then reffered me to her manager, David, who then explained to me what service they provide. i then explained to him the type of scratches on my car and he said autocare can fix them, and that i would just need to pay a monthly fee of R140, and a registration fee of R80, total R220. On the 26th of May, R220 was debited from my account. i submitted a claim the next day and sent them pictures of the scratches on my car, of which they then said they cannot fix.

I called them and submitted a formal complaint and asked for the telephonic conversation i had with David. at first i was told it takes 5 days to get the recording, now they telling me it takes 7 to 14 days. i have cancelled my account with them, but i feel i was robbed of R220. This was probably done by the consultant just trying to get commission from this. They could have done this to many people and it is wrong. They pressure you to join with all sorts of promises yet they cannot deliver.

Please assist.
