LET THE POTENTIAL BUYERS OF NISSAN BEWARE

My Nissan X Trail, with 40 000 km on the clock broke down with no clutch near Port Edward on Saturday, 700 km from home at 2 PM . Phoned agent at repeatedly..no response, no message just ringing. No emergency numbers in Yellow pages. Drove the car without clutch to safety at holiday flat in Uvongo. Got hold of local mechanic that diagnosed slave cylinder failure evidence of repeated leaking at parking spot..

Informed on Monday I must get car to Dealer on my own... again no advice ..nothing!
Then get informed that parts will take 3-4 days (in this day and age?), Car will only be ready by Friday earliest... Again no concern whatsoever to the client. I was never asked if i need a lift or am I ok... nothing..

I had to hire a vehicle /accommodation for 4 extra days all on my own cost due to their total inability to supply a common part within 3 days-now am I unreasonable to expect better? My Cost R5k

Tuesday afternoon I am informed that due to failure of the Clutch at the young age of 40 000 km it is all for my account and "driver use". The plate disintegrated on one side while the other still on final lining? I am forced to pay handling fee on late parts not fitted/not arrived.
